HISTORICAL FOOTNOTES:
It is currently unknown how many copies of this comic book were printed. Pekar was known to have printed approximately 5,000 copies of early issues of the book, but Dark Horse took over printing American Splendor for the final issue and the quantity may have changed. This issue has not been reprinted. Dark Horse published the American Splendor comic books that would come out in the next decade, before Vertigo took over the title when it resumed in 2006.
