REVIEW SCORE 7
Written and illustrated by two amputees, Rich and Rene Jensen, Amputee Love is a raunchy comic about love and sex between amputees. While the artwork is quite awful, the dialogue is often funny and insightful. Though not accounted for in the illustration critique (not often I get to use the "butt ugly" score, so I wasn't gonna pass it up here!), the cover by Brent Boates is outstanding. The uniqueness of the concept and the fairly good writing add a solid point to the review score.
