REVIEW SCORE 6
The third issue has broader types of stories than the first two, and is in my mind the best of the four in the series (need to track down the fourth issue and add that to the site). This issue features a fine John Williams cover and 8-page story. Excellent artwork overall and good reading.

HISTORICAL FOOTNOTES:
Kennedy's Price Guide states that California Comics printed approximately 1,400 copies of this comic book, but I'm pretty sure that was a typo (or one of the many intentional errors Kennedy placed in his Guide to catch plagiarists) and there were actually 8,400 copies printed, just like the previous issue. The fourth issue had 4,200 copies, so it's not likely this one had only 1,400. This issue has not been reprinted.
