REVIEW SCORE 8
This John Thompson comic was published by the Print Mint virtually simultaneously with Kukawy Comics in 1969. The Book of Raziel is apparently about the Angel Raziel, "the Angel of Mysteries," who authored the original Book of Raziel, reputed to contain the keys to the mysteries of the universe. Legend has it that the original book was inscribed on a sapphire stone in a language so ancient and arcane that not even the greatest scholars of ancient language were able to decipher it. This seems logical, as I can hardly decipher what the hell John Thompson is writing about in this comic. As always, though, there are lots of exquisite illustrations to be discovered in this mysterious tome.
