REVIEW SCORE 9
Eight years after finishing his original trilogy of Dopin' Dan comics, Ted Richards returned to his signature character in 1981 and produced Today's Army with Dopin' Dan. In this issue, Dan helps us learn that people are just people no matter what godforsaken country they might come from or who they might have killed in the past. He proves this with a bottle of vodka and a dim-witted, pot-smoking Russian soldier. I would have preferred that Richards had just let the series end after the first three books.
