AVERAGE SCORE 10
One of the first, and most popular, underground comic books in history. After a first printing of 5,000 books in 1968, over 200,000 copies were sold by 1980. Feds 'n Heads opens with one of Gilbert Shelton's funniest Wonder Wart-Hog stories. Also features the first appearance of the classic Freak Brothers one-pager that launched the catchphrase: "Grass will carry you through times of no money better than money will carry you through times of no grass!" This Gilbert Shelton masterpiece is an ideal example of underground comics perfection, circa 1968.
