50's Funnies

1st Printing / September, 1971 / 28 pages / Half Ass Press
Greaser Comics #1 is an east-coast underground that's irreverent, deviant, violent and politically incorrect. Hmm, sounds like most of us. Key contributors George DiCaprio and R. Jaccoma give us fast cars driven by young punks with greasy hair, cuffed jeans and white t-shirts. And yes, the moiré patterns on that front cover art are actually there, and they are probably intentional.
There are two printings of this comic book, both by Half Ass Press and both with 50-cent cover prices. The 1st printing (15,000 copies) has white offset interior paper stock. The 2nd printing (20,000 copies) has newsprint interior paper stock.
