AVERAGE SCORE 7
There was a six-year gap between the 6th and 7th issues of The Cartoon History of the Universe. The 7th issue covers the history of Athens, Greece, which made this the third consecutive issue to address the ancient history of Greece. HISTORICAL FOOTNOTES:
The standard printing of The Cartoon History of the Universe #7 has a $2.00 cover price. There was no standard 2nd printing of the 7th issue (or any subsequent issue printed by Rip Off Press), but there was still a deluxe edition printed for the 7th issue (not shown) with a $2.50 cover price.
The 7th issue of The Cartoon History of the Universe is the last issue that included a deluxe edition (not shown here, but available for viewing on Sir Real's website). The difference between the cover prices of the standard and deluxe issues was reduced to only 50 cents with this issue. When the standard edition cover price rose to $2.95 with the 8th issue of the series in May, 1991, the deluxe editions were discontinued. COMIC CREATOR:
