Dr. Wirtham's #10 contains 60 pages
of solid contributions from the likes of Mike Matthews, Gary Dumm, Greg Budgett, and
Ed Watson. Highlights include Clifford Neal's "It's Sure Real Wasted," in which he relates the story of a real-life serial killer who preyed on teenage girls near his home town,
"Creation and the Theory of Delayed Perception" by Mark Burbey and Bill Turner; a story about a young man recalling some of the less pleasant memories from his past, and Watson's goofy "Cock Eyed Capers," a farcical "call to arms" for hard-working penises everywhere. Like the last issue, there's a nice collection of one-page erotic pin-up art
that ranges from the sublime to the bizarre.
This is the final issue of the series, which had a solid run and maintained high quality standards from the first issue to the last. I wish it had sold enough to keep in going through the comic-book boom in the early '90s, which would have given us eight or ten more issues of excellence.
