REVIEW SCORE 9
Dope Comix #3 continues along the same lines as #1 and #2: people who use recreational drugs are stupid. Despite the endless preaching, the comic is nearly salvaged at the end with an inspired romantic adventure by Doug Hansen, "A Night in a Head Shop." Without that marvelous contribution, this Nancy Reagan "just-say-no" government-approved drug education pamphlet would be pure drivel (though skillfully illustrated). Features contributions from Doug Steffan, Gary Whitney, Howard Cruse, Steve Stiles, and Larry Rippee, among others.
