If there was ever a Folk Funnies #1, it was probably a single, hand-drawn comic book stuck in a dresser drawer by a teen-age Paul McKenna, who went on to produce this comic book here. And a fine little comic book this is, with some truly funny stories illustrated with a fluid, loose pen. Not quite a lost gem, but well worth reading.

Did McKenna ever do anything else? My research hasn't come up with a thing. That's a shame, because he was capable of producing some very interesting work.
